Case

A. Mr. Alvin Reynaldo a 40Yr. old restaurant manager,while checking on his employees suddenly fainted. The staff at the restaurant brought him to the hospital for medical assistance.

When Mr. Reynaldo recovered, the doctor took his medical history and found out that he had experienced polyphagia, polyuria and polydypsia previously.

1-5. What is the likely diagnosis of Mr. Reynaldo's condition ? Explain your answer.

Mr. Reynaldo had signs of diabetes mellitus. The cause of the loss of consciousness of the patient is probably because of the high levels of glucose in his bloodstream.. Polyphagia, polyuria and polydypsia are three of the major symptoms of diabetes.

6-10. What laboratory test will the clinician be requesting?Explain your answer.
Blood glucose analysis for the detection of the level of glucose in the blood of the patient.

11-17. Hormone/s is/are responsible for Mr. Reynaldo's disease.
Insulin and glucagon are the primary hormones responsible for the level of glucose in the blood.

18-20. What treatment can you suggest?
Proper diet and exercise. Proper intake of the medication given to the patient.

hi cris. i like your case study! it made me think! hehe. you can also try using a lighter shade of layout for a more brighter feel to your blog.:) you can also fix the spacing of your answers. keep it up!

hi, your post is good. I suggest you use other layout. Yours is a bit dull.

The case and questions were great but there were some typho, which made it a bit confusing.

i like the case analysis portion, my brain cells need to have a double work...eheh

but please try another layout and font color, so it would be easy for your readers to read your post..

yo, this post is a good one, it just needs some modification to lighten up a bit and to add some enthusiasm for the readers to continue reading your blog. you can add some twist or anything; you can change font color or font style to emphasize important words...

you can also interchange the position of your tests: putting your identification part on the top and case analysis on the bottom part, so readers would understand easily your post.

then again, you did awesome work in making this post. nice work.

hi cris.. its a good post, its very detailed and informative. i like the way you construct your questions and case ana. maybe editing some fonts and colors could make your post more attractive and readable. you can also organize your post to be easily understand by the reader.

nice post. you can add about more on how the disease can be treated for additional info but overall good job. keep it up
